News   Casting Society Will Offer Workshop for Actors with Disabilities
 
The audition workshop will be held in Manhattan.

The Casting Society of America, in partnership with the Alliance for Inclusion in the Arts, will present an Audition Workshop for Actors with Disabilities March 19 at Telsey + Co. in Manhattan.

The workshop is part of the Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion in Casting Initiative, a series of conversations and workshops "designed to effect concrete change in how actors in historically underrepresented communities are afforded access to job opportunities."

There are still spaces available for the following classes: Theatre Audition Technique and Musical Theatre Audition Technique, both morning and afternoon sessions; On-Camera Audition Technique, limited space in both morning and afternoon sessions; and Commercial On-Camera Technique, limited space in both morning and afternoon sessions. (Voiceover classes will be offered at a later date.)

Telsey + Co. is located at 311 W. 43rd Street, 10th Floor, New York. Sessions will be held 10 AM-1 PM and 2 PM-5 PM. Time slots are limited to 15 people per class. Advance signup is required. The deadline to register is March 11.
