The 7:30 PM concert will celebrate the release of Howard's debut album, "Shine Through It," which features 11 original songs written, arranged and produced by the acclaimed actor. In a statement Howard said, "Music has always been the road that leads to where I'm headed. Film is my vocation, my 9 to 5. In the movies, I'm doing what somebody else is asking me to do. Music is my own personal form of expression."
Howard is best known for his work in the films "Crash" and "Hustle & Flow." He was Academy Award-nominated for the latter.
