The musical earned Tony Award nominations for Best Musical, Best Actor (Norbert Leo Butz), Best Sound Design (Steve Canyon Kennedy) and Best Orchestrations (Marc Shaiman & Larry Blank). Butz took home the 2011 Best Actor Tony Award.
