Catch Me If You Can's Alex Ellis shares her experience of the demanding preview process of opening an original Broadway show. Ellis must rehearse during the day and then get ready for preview performances at the Neil Simon Theatre at night. In episode eight, "Being on Broadway," the actress also sits down with director Jack O'Brien to talk about the process of making the dream become a reality.


Preview performances for the new Broadway musical began March 11 with an official opening April 10.

The series is directed by Sara Wolkowitz and presented by the YouTube channel DanceOn. Music by The Kick Drums is featured. Episodes go live every Wednesday through May 18.

From grueling dance rehearsals in 6-inch heels, to glamorous photo shoots, to balancing a personal life, Alex Ellis takes viewers on a theatrical journey showing what it really takes to make it on the Great White Way.”
