The comedy group Cathead has extended the world premiere of A Big Bag of Meat by one week, now playing through April 8 at Los Angeles' Zephyr Theatre. Performances began Feb. 25. Tom Ballatore ("Once Bitten"), Amit Itelman ("Seinfeld," Leopold and Loeb) Kathleen Macdonald ("ER," "Killer Flick") and Patrick Cannon comprise Cathead. They have appeared together at the HBO Workspace and the HBO USA Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, CO.
Cannon directs. As well as directing for Cathead, he also wrote, directed and starred in Stumpy's Gang: A Comic Mutation, which ran for five months at the Zephyr.
