The Broadway return of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s long-running hit Cats was canceled Wednesday night due to a water supply break in the theatre district that affected the Neil Simon Theatre.

“Due to a water supply break, tonight’s Wednesday, August 24th evening performance of ‪#CatsBroadway has been cancelled,” the show tweeted from its official Twitter account.

It is expected that performances will resume the evening of August 25.

Leona Lewis stars as Grizabella in the revival that opened July 31.
