The Broadway return of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s long-running hit Cats was canceled Wednesday night due to a water supply break in the theatre district that affected the Neil Simon Theatre.
“Due to a water supply break, tonight’s Wednesday, August 24th evening performance of #CatsBroadway has been cancelled,” the show tweeted from its official Twitter account.
It is expected that performances will resume the evening of August 25.
