News Catwalk Confidential to Transfer to West End's Arts Theatre Former international fashion model Robyn Peterson's autobiographical one-woman show Catwalk Confidential, currently receiving its U.K. premiere on the Edinburgh Fringe, is heading to the West End's Arts Theatre.

Performances will begin Sept. 4 — prior to an official opening Sept. 9 — for a four-week season to Oct. 3. The show originally premiered at the Sidewalk Theatre in Los Angeles in May 2009, and is currently running at Edinburgh's Assembly Hall on the Mound through Aug. 31, playing in a new venue called the Baillie Room. Written and developed by Peterson with her director Tony Abatemarco, the play is described in press materials as "part fairy-tale, part memoir, part romance," telling the story of 16 year-old Robyn fresh from Miami, who gets caught up in the world of high fashion amidst the boulevards of Paris in the early 1970s. She became one of the top models of the period, working with photographers such as Helmut Newton and Guy Bourdin and designers Karl Lagerfeld, Yves Saint Laurent and Kenzo. Her face appeared on the covers of Vogue, Elle and Marie Claire. Amidst this whirlwind life of glamour, sex and drugs, Robyn discovers there is one thing to fear above all else – age – there is always a younger girl waiting to step into your shoes.

Designed by Tim Crowdy with lighting by Alistair Grant and sound by Clement Rawling, Catwalk Confidential is produced in London by Barbara Broccoli for Eon Productions and Michael Rose Ltd., the team who brought Chitty Chitty Bang Bang to the stage. Their next project together is the Broadway production of A Steady Rain, a new play starring Daniel Craig and Hugh Jackman that begins performances at the Schoenfeld Theatre in September.
