LOS ANGELES -- Author! Author! -- An Evening With Sholom Aleichem, the single most requested of all the plays in the Santa Monica Playhouse's repertoire, will be performed twice on New Year's Eve, Tues. Dec. 31.
Starring Chris DeCarlo as the legendary Yiddish author, the musical has been seen by more than a quarter of a million people over the past twenty years.
In what has become a Los Angeles theatre tradition, audiences will receive a complimentary buffet supper, champagne, hats, noise makers and special surprises.
The early-bird show is at 5:30 PM, the late show 9:30 PM. Tickets are $35-$45 with discounts available for students, teachers, seniors and groups of 16 or more. The Playhouse is at 1211 4th St. in Santa Monica. Call (310) 394-9779 ext. 1.
