Hamilton at the Public Theater

Hamilton opened Off-Broadway at the Public Theater February 17, 2015. Here are highlights from the Off-Broadway run.

On February 24, 2015, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Public Theater artistic director Oskar Eustis held a press conference in the Public Theater lobby to announce Hamilton‘s move to Broadway.

On April 16, 2015, Lin-Manuel Miranda and the cast of Hamilton celebrated the 40th anniversary of A Chorus Line by presenting the original cast members of the show with a commemorative plaque and performing a stirring medley of “I Hope I Get It” and “What I Did For Love.”
