News Celebration of Noel Coward's Music and Wit Opens Dec. 22 at Tiffany Theatre A Private Spirit—A Celebration of the Music & Wit of Noel Coward will open at the Tiffany Theatre Dec. 22, 2000, for a five-week run through Jan. 21. The holiday show, written and performed by Don Snell, directed by Robert Schrock, comes out of a tribute to Coward that Schrock put together a few years ago for the Friends of the USC Library. Mary Martin, Lynn Redgrave, Roddy McDowall, Graham Payne and other stars were in that cast.

A Private Spirit—A Celebration of the Music & Wit of Noel Coward will open at the Tiffany Theatre Dec. 22, 2000, for a five-week run through Jan. 21. The holiday show, written and performed by Don Snell, directed by Robert Schrock, comes out of a tribute to Coward that Schrock put together a few years ago for the Friends of the USC Library. Mary Martin, Lynn Redgrave, Roddy McDowall, Graham Payne and other stars were in that cast.Until recently, Schrock was producing artistic director of the Celebration Theatre, where he produced 40 shows, including the international hit Naked Boys Singing! Snell is a triple threat. As an actor he has appeared in over thirty films including "Erin Brockovich," "Contact" and "Places in the Heart." As a singer he made his Carnegie Hall debut in 1985. And as a writer his play Rise and Shine, a musical tribute to Irving Berlin, was performed at Theatre III in Dallas.
