News Celebration Theatre to Present Staged Reading of Dear Harvey: Stories of Harvey Milk Patricia Loughrey's Dear Harvey: Stories of Harvey Milk will be presented at the Celebration Theatre in Hollywood, CA, May 31 at 7 PM.

Directed by Celebration Theatre associate artistic director Anthony Frisina, the evening will feature members of the Celebration Theatre Company.

The one-night-only event will be performed "in honor of the birth month of Harvey Milk, to give a voice to the movement approving a national holiday for Harvey Milk and to raise money for the Hetrick-Martin Institute: Home of The Harvey Milk High School," according to press notes.

Dear Harvey shares the stories of Milk's rise and untimely death, and how his life and passion influenced the lives of many people around him. Interviewees included Tom Ammiano, Cleve Jones, Anne Kronenberg, John Laird, Dan Nicoletta, Stuart Milk, Chris Kehoe and Robin Tyler.

A talk-back session concerning California Supreme Court's decision in support of Prop 8 will follow the performance.
