News Ceraso and Wise to Star in New Romulus Linney Play Off-Broadway Ensemble Studio Theatre will present the Off-Broadway premiere of Klonsky & Schwartz, a new play by Romulus Linney.

Directed by Jamie Richards, the production will begin performances Nov. 28 with an official opening set for Dec. 5. The limited engagement — starring Chris Ceraso and Bill Wise — will play through Dec. 23.

Klonsky & Schwartz, according to production notes, "evokes the creative life of the mercurial and gifted poet Delmore Schwartz who rose to fame during the mid 20th century artistic and political ferment in New York City. . . . Milton Klonsky, Delmore Schwartz's life-long partner and protégé, fights to rescue his troubled mentor and friend in the turbulent times of the 1960s."

The creative team for the production comprises Maruti Evans (scenic and lighting design), Amelia Baksic (costume design) and Graham Johnson (sound design).

A member of EST for more than 20 years, Chris Ceraso's TV and film credits include "Law and Order," "Law and Order: S.V.U," "Deadline," "City Kids," "Magnetism" and "101 Ways." On stage Bill Wise has been seen in Orphans, Established Prince and A Way with Words as well as 22 years worth of productions at EST. His screen credits include "Kingdom Hospital," "13 Conversations About One Thing" and "In the Bedroom."
