Chad Kimball, who was recently part of the Irish Repertory Theatre's hit production of Finian's Rainbow, will lead a cast that also includes former Little Shop star Jessica Snow-Wilson, La Bohème's Charlotte Cohn and Buddy Crutchfield, Lorinda Lisitza, Larry Picard, Phylllis Somerville, Mary Stout, Stephen Tewksbury, Tom Souhrada, Bruce Winant, Chris Yates and Stuart Zagnit. The musical, according to production notes, follows "the hilarious collision of the corporate advertising world, a traditional gypsy family and a duck." Based on Murray Schisgal's play, Ducks and Lovers features music and lyrics by Peter Gootkind and a book by Gootkind and Marni Goltsman. Dan Foster will direct the readings with musical direction by Albert Ahronheim.

Chad Kimball, who memorably portrayed the cow Milky White in the revival of Into the Woods, also appeared on Broadway in Frank Wildhorn's The Civil War as well as that show's national tour. His other theatrical credits include productions of Baby, Finian's Rainbow, Chess, Godspell, Sweeney Todd, Equus, The Winter's Tale and Three Sisters. The actor-singer is a graduate of the Boston Conservatory.

Jessica-Snow Wilson was most recently on Broadway as Audrey in the revival of Little Shop of Horrors. She has also appeared on The Great White Way in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum and Les Misérables as well as the City Center Encores! production of Hair. Off-Broadway the actress was seen in Zombie Prom, I Sing and Me and Juliet. Wilson's other theatrical credits include The Wizard of Oz, Grease, Baby and Stars in Your Eyes.

The 45th Street Theatre is located at Primary Stages, 354 West 45th Street. Readings are 8 PM on Sept. 27 and noon on Oct. 1. For ticket information, news and updates, visit www.ducksandlovers.com.
