Farewell to Kricker James, co-founder of NYC's Chain Lightning Theatre Company. James died of kidney cancer, Nov. 3. According to the NY Times obituary, James' real named was William T. Krichbaum III, and he received a bachelor's degree in theatre arts from Ohio's Denison University.

James and his wife, Claire Higgins, founded Chain Lightning in 1991. There James, producing director of the company, played the lead in Uncle Vanya and also appeared in Mourning Becomes Electra and In The Shadow Of The Glen.
