The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center has named the 17 young musicians who will participate in the CMS Two residency program from 2006 to 2008.

The musicians, who were chosen through an audition process, are pianists Inon Barnatan and Gilles Vonsattel; violinists Lily Francis, Erin Keefe, Yoon Kwon, Susie Park, and Arnaud Sussmann; violists Beth Guterman, David Kim, and Teng Li; cellists Julie Albers, Efe Baltacigil, and Priscilla Lee; double bassist DaXun Zhang; clarinetist Jose Franch-Ballester; bassoonist Peter Kolkay; and percussionist Ayano Kataoka.

The musicians come from the United States, China, Spain, Turkey, Australia, Switzerland, and elsewhere. Many are graduates of the Juilliard School, the Curtis Insitute, and other conservatories. As members of CMS Two, they will perform at Lincoln Center and elsewhere, and participate in outreach and education programs.

"These auditions produced the largest number of CMS Two winners ever," said CMS artistic directors David Finckel and Wu Han in a statement. "This was due to the high level of performance, but it also reflects the growing enthusiasm within CMS for the significant contributions that young artists are making to chamber music."
