News Channez McQuay, George Dvorsky and Caitlin Deerin Will Sing Annie in Maryland Broadway's George Dvorsky will play Daddy Warbucks opposite the orphan Annie of Caitlin Deerin in Annie at the Olney Theatre Center in Olney, MD.

Performances of the Tony Award-winning musical comedy, about a billionaire who seeks to adopt an orphan in the Depression, will play Nov. 17-Jan. 2, 2011.

Mark Waldrop directs the musical by Thomas Meehan (book), Charles Strouse (music) and Martin Charnin (lyrics).

Olney's cast of 29 features Channez McQuay as Miss Hannigan, Bobby Smith as Rooster and Carrie A. Johnson as Grace Farrell. Each of the orphans' roles will be shared by two actors; the role of Sandy will be shared by two dogs. Opening night is Nov. 20.

Dvorsky has appeared on Broadway in Passion, The Scarlet Pimpernel and Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, and in Off-Broadway's Pete 'n' Keely, among other works.

The Annie creative team includes musical director Christopher Youstra, choreographer Tara Jeanne Vallee, original costume designer Theoni Aldredge, original set designer Ming Cho Lee, lighting designer Charlie Morrison, sound designer G.W. Rodriguez, wig designer Anne Nesmith and stage manager Renee E. Yancey. The cast also features Kylie Cooley, Lily Discepolo, Madeline Heyman, Carolyn Youstra, Sadie Rose Herman, Heidi Kaplan, Rachel Olivia Condliffe, Jacqueline Kempa, Adalia Jimenez, Nia Smith, Sydney Maloney, Collette Youstra, Alan Hoffman, James Konicek, Jason Lott, Rob McQuay, Chris Sizemore, Jenna Sokolowski, Janet Aldrich, Jamie Ogden, Leo Christopher Sheridan, Bligh Voth, John Dellaporta and Autumn Seavey.

It was recently announced that a separate commercial revival of Annie will open on Broadway in 2012. James Lapine will direct.
