News Charlie Rose to Welcome Mary Poppins Director Richard Eyre Director Richard Eyre will sit down for a chat with Charlie Rose on PBS' "The Charlie Rose Show" Dec. 26.

Eyre will discuss his two latest projects: the Broadway production of Mary Poppins, which recently opened at the New Amsterdam Theatre, and his upcoming film "Notes on a Scandal." The latter was penned by Patrick Marber and features Judi Dench, Cate Blanchett and Bill Nighy.

"The Charlie Rose Show" airs in the New York metropolitan area on WNET/Thirteen at 11 PM ET; check local listings.

Sir Richard Eyre received Tony Award nominations for Best Director of a Play for Skylight and The Crucible. Some of his numerous other directorial credits include Vincent in Brixton, Amy's View, The Judas Kiss, Stanley, Skylight, Racing Demon, Indiscretions, Arcadia, An Inspector Calls, Carousel, The Grapes of Wrath, The Secret Rapture and Ghetto.
