A pig, the Phantom, and a mischievous elementary school girl are the protagonists of Theatreworks/USA's March shows at Off-Broadway's Promenade Theatre. The renowned theatre for young and family audiences is presenting Charlotte's Web (for ages 5-10), the classic story of friendship between Charlotte the spider and Wilbur the pig, Mar. 6-7 and 13-14; Ramona Quimby (for ages 6-11), the madcap adventures of the heroine of Beverly Cleary's award-winning books, Mar. 20-21; and Phantom of the Opera, (for ages 7-14), not the Andrew Lloyd Webber version but a musical adaptation written specifically for young audiences, Mar. 27-28.
All performances are at 12:30 PM, with an additional 10:30 AM performance of Charlotte's Web on the 14th, at the Promenade Theatre, 2162 Broadway. Tickets are $18.50. For reservations, call (212) 627-7373.
