Cast members from the Broadway and touring productions of The Lion King are featured on the Nov. 25 episode of the CBS-TV medical drama "Code Black."

For the episode titled "The Son Rises," writers for the series, which airs at 10 PM ET, created a storyline in which the actor playing Mufasa in the national tour arrives in the emergency room with a severe throat infection, according to the Associated Press. His fellow cast members, drawn from actors appearing in the real-life national tour, come to his bedside to help him pull through. They perform part of the song "He Lives in You" from the Elton John score.
