The Great Comet headliner Josh Groban, The Color Purple Tony winner Cynthia Erivo, and Santino Fontana were among the stars who took center stage March 13 at Broadway Backwards 2017. The 12th annual event took place at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre.
Other performers in the Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS benefit included Carolee Carmello (soon to star Off-Broadway in Sweeney Todd), Elizabeth Stanley (On the Town), Eric Petersen (School of Rock), Megan Sikora (Holiday Inn), Jersey Boys alums Dominic Nolfi, Michael Longoria, and Daniel Reichard, and Emmy winner Bruce Vilanch.
