Cheek by Jowl, the UK touring classical company that first visited the Brooklyn Academy of Music with its 1994 production of As You Like It (which introduced U.S. audiences to magnetic actor Adrian Lester, now co-starring in the film Primary Colors), is back again -- this time with its own special take on the Beatrice and Benedick tale, Much Ado About Nothing.

Much Ado begins performances Mar. 25 at BAM's smaller performing space, the Majestic Theatre, and will be in residence there through April 5.

At the helm of the production are director Declan Donnellan and his principal collaborator, designer Nick Ormerod. In addition to their work for Cheek by Jowl, the pair have also worked at the Royal National Theatre (Sweeney Todd, Angels in America) and on the Olivier Award-winning musical Martin Guerre.

For those curious about what goes on behind the scenes at Cheek by Jowl, Donnellan and Ormerod will participate in a "BAMdialogue," Mar. 26 at 6 PM ($8).
