News Cheek By Jowl's Macbeth Arrives at BAM for Last Leg of World Tour April 5 The U.K. theatre company Cheek By Jowl's take on Shakespeare's Macbeth makes its U.S. debut April 5 at the Brooklyn Academy of Music.

The stripped-down, two-hour production stars Will Foyle and Anastasia Hille as the bloody, power-hungry titular couple. Declan Donnellan stages the acclaimed production that will play a limited engagement through April 16.

The cast also features David Caves (Macduff), David Collings (Duncan/Scottish Doctor), Kelly Hotten (Porter/Lady Macduff), Orlando James (Malcolm), Ryan Kiggell (Banquo) and Philip Cairns, Vincent Enderby, Nicholas Goode, Greg Kolpakchi and Edmund Wiseman as the Thanes.

Macbeth premiered in 2009 at the Thèâtre de Namur, Belgium. The BAM engagement marks the conclusion of the international tour. Cheek By Jowl previously appeared at BAM with As You Like It (1994), Much Ado About Nothing (1998) and Othello (2004).

The creative team also includes Nick Ormerod (production design), Jane Gibson (associate direction/movement), Judith Greenwood (lighting), Helen Atkinson (sound) and Catherine Jayes (music).
