News Cheryl Freeman Returns to Metropolitan Room in March Cheryl Freeman will return to the Metropolitan Room in March with reprise engagements of her one-woman show I'm Every Woman.

Following performances in December and February, Freeman returns with the show she describes as "a musical journey through love, loss and rebirth featuring an eclectic mix of pop, R&B and standards from the 1940's to the present."

The tune-stack for Freeman's solo show includes "I'm Every Woman," "I Who Have Nothing," "Feeling Good," "Smile" and the hit song "Miss Independent." Richard Cummings returns as musical director for the Metropolitan Room engagement.

A Drama Desk and Outer Critic Circle Award winner for her performance in The Civil War, Freeman portrayed the Acid Queen in the Broadway premiere of The Who's Tommy, and counts among her Broadway credits Amen Corner, Show Boat and Play On! Freeman most recently starred as Vickie Latrell in the Off-Broadway musical Walmartopia.

Freeman will play the Metropolitan Room March 5 and 26 at 7:30 PM. There is a $25 cover and a two-drink minimum. Reservations can be made by calling (212) 206-0440.
