The 29th season of the New York Pops will welcome a handful of theatre artists, including Hugh Panaro, Cheyenne Jackson and Ashley Brown, and will celebrate the work of Irving Berlin and George Gershwin in separate concerts. The 2011-12 season begins Oct. 14.

Music director Steven Reineke leads the orchestra, which calls Carnegie Hall (the Stern/Perelman mainstage) its home.

For the first time at Carnegie Hall, concertgoers will hear Nelson Riddle's original symphonic arrangements of works by the legendary songwriting brothers."
