Jackson (Finian's Rainbow, Xanadu) will perform the Life Ball's 2011 theme song, "Ask the Universe." Clinton is scheduled to open the formal event along with UNAIDS executive director Michael Sidibe.
Shields (Leap of Faith, The Addams Family, Wonderful Town) will present an award honoring leaders within the HIV/AIDS communities.
Jackson will offer musical performances alongside artists including Natasha Bedingfield, Nigel Kennedy, Lukas Plöchl, Eddie Cole, Rounder Girls and Dorretta Carter.
