RCA Records will release the cast album of the Chicago revival Tuesday, Jan. 28.
The cast of the red-hot Kander and Ebb revival recorded the album November 25. The release of the CD will come just 2 weeks before the cast, led by Bebe Neuwirth and Ann Reinking (who also choreographed), packs its bags and moves from the Richard Rodgers Theatre to the Shubert Theatre two blocks south. Chicago's final performance at the Rodgers is Feb. 9; the first performance at the Shubert will be Feb. 12. The cast will remain intact for the move.
