CHICAGO -- Everything can become grist for theatre's mill. In the town that gave the world the St. Valentine's Day Massacre, there's a theatre that reproduces it annually, minus the bullets, and only for vicarious thrills. To mark the 69th anniversary of the infamous wipeout, Tommy Gun's Garage, a South Side "speakeasy" dinner theatre located under the "el" tracks, will reenact the killings in Chicago gangster fashion Feb. 13, 14 and 15.
Fortunately, the slaughter occurs after dinner; the "victims" will be equipped with blood bags that picturesquely burst to the firing of machine guns. Once again Al Capone will know nothing about nothing.
