CHICAGO--Bailiwick Repertory is seeking new play and performance-art submissions for its Prometheus 2000 series. The series will celebrate the coming millennium by presenting multiple versions of the timeless Greek myth about human creation, including new adaptations of past Prometheus legends by Aeschylus and Shelley.

Bailiwick solicits similarly themed versions from authors, directors, performers and performance artists; time and gender are possible variables.

Treatments and/or proposals should be sent to artistic director David Zak by July 15, 1998.

Already slated to participate in Prometheus 2000 are directors Cecilie D. Keenan and James Pelton, authors Nicholas A. Patricca and Dwight Okita and Seattle playwright Ed Mast.
