The prolific dramatist and filmmaker, whose plays Fat Pig and autobahn have enjoyed their midwest premieres with Profiles Theatre, will be working closely with the company, participating in talkbacks and special events throughout the season. Opening the season from Sept. 10-Oct. 28 is Some Girl(s), LaBute's tale of one man's cross-country odyssey to tie up some loose ends before he marries. The production will include a new scene never before performed for American audiences.

LaBute's collection of provocative short plays, The Things We Said Today, also marking the world premiere of several in the collection, will run Nov. 12–Dec. 16.

This Is How It Goes, LaBute's frank dialogue about race and privilege in America, will run Jan. 14–March 2, 2008.

A midwest premiere of Neil LaBute's newest play, with dates and title yet to be announced, will conclude the Profiles season.
