News Chicago's Roz Ryan Bids Adieu with Triad Cabaret Show Before she ends her run in the Broadway company of Chicago, Roz Ryan will bring her cabaret act to the Triad Theatre.

On Jan. 8 Chicago's current Matron "Mama" Morton will play the intimate cabaret as part of Lee Summers' "Just a Piano Series." Ryan will be joined onstage by her longtime musical director Shelton Becton. Show time is 7 PM.

Ryan will play her final performance in Chicago Jan. 14 and will then head to Los Angeles.

Roz Ryan made her Broadway debut in the Fats Waller revue Ain't Misbehavin'. She also starred on The Great White Way in Dreamgirls and One Mo' Time and in the national tours of Annie, South Pacific and Blues in the Night. Ryan's film credits include "Went to Coney Island," "Cotton Club" and "Dark Indigo."

The Triad Theatre is located in Manhattan at 158 West 72nd Street. There is a $15 music charge and a two-drink minimum; for reservations call (212) 362-2590.
