The Broadway favorite will play the famed jazz venue Oct. 7-11.
In Chita's Back, the acclaimed singing actress will perform "some of her favorite songs, [offer] a special tribute to her dear friends John Kander and Fred Ebb, [and re-create] signature moments from her legendary career." She will be accompanied by her long-time music director Michael Croiter, associate music director/pianist Michael Patrick Walker and Jim Donica on bass.
Rivera will next be seen in The Visit, the Kander/Ebb/McNally musical, directed by John Doyle and choreographed by Graciela Daniele, which runs July 31-Aug. 17 at the Williamstown Theatre Festival.
Show times at Birdland will be Oct. 7-9 at 8:30 PM and Oct. 10-11 at 8:30 PM and 11 PM.
