The 3 PM concert, entitled Music That Makes Us Dance, kicks off the Orchestra's 22nd season and will be presented at the Presbyterian Church of Chatham Township. The Orchestra will perform Aaron Copland's ballet suite "Appalachian Spring" and will also offer a tribute to the American Songbook. Singer-actress Davi is the afternoon's guest vocalist. About the concert Davi said in a recent statement, "I am thrilled to be a part of Lyrica's opening concert and to be performing music dearest to my heart: the classic Broadway songbook."

Lyrica's new artistic director, Adam Waite, conducts the orchestra.

The Presbyterian Church of Chatham Township is located at 240 Southern Boulevard in Chatham, NJ. Tickets, priced $20 and $25, are available by calling (973) 701-1734 or by visiting www.lyricacm.org. Free student tickets are available 30 minutes prior to the start of the concert with valid ID.
