Broadway News Christie Brinkley Returns to Broadway’s Chicago April 18 Prior to returning to Broadway, Brinkley played two stops in the musical’s national tour.

Christie Brinkley returns to the Tony-winning revival of Broadway’s Chicago beginning April 18.

Brinkley, who made her Broadway debut in the musical in 2010 and played a return engagement in 2012, once again steps into the role of Roxie Hart through May 12 at the Ambassador Theatre.

Prior to Broadway, Brinkley played Roxie in the Chicago national tour at the Orpheum Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona, from March 29 to April 2, followed by a seven-show engagement at The Venetian Theatre inside The Venetian Resort Las Vegas April 10–14.

The Broadway production currently stars Amra-Faye Wright as Velma Kelly, Tom Hewitt as Billy Flynn, Raymond Bokhour as Amos Hart, Haley Swindal as Matron “Mama” Morton, and R. Lowe as Mary Sunshine.

With a book by Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse, music by John Kander and lyrics by Ebb, Chicago is now the longest-running American musical in Broadway history.
