The staging, originally from Los Angeles Opera, is directed by Thor Steingraber, with production design by the renowned artist David Hockney. Thomas Moser takes the role of Tristan, with Jane Irwin (in her company debut) as Brang‹ne, Boaz Daniel (also in his first appearance with the company) as Kurwenal and Kristinn Sigmundsson as King Marke. San Francisco Opera music director Donald Runnicles conducts.
