"Christmas in Rockefeller Center," which celebrates the lighting of the country's most famous Christmas tree, airs on NBC Dec. 3 beginning at 8 PM ET.

"Today" show anchors Matt Lauer, Savannah Guthrie, Al Roker and Natalie Morales host the live broadcast.

The hour-long event showcases holiday performances by Mariah Carey, Prince Royce, Darius Rucker, the Rockettes, Lady Gaga, Tony Bennett, Cyndi Lauper, Billy Porter, Seth MacFarlane, Sara Bareilles, Idina Menzel, Pentatonix, LeAnn Rimes and Trisha Yearwood.

The 82nd annual holiday extravaganza features an 85-foot tall Norway Spruce from Hemlock Township, PA. It is approximately 90 years old and weighs approximately 13 tons.

Prior to the primetime telecast, an additional live hour of the special will be broadcast on select NBC stations (7-8 PM); check local listings.
