Nicholas Martin will direct the production, which will then play New York’s Lincoln Center Theater (performances are scheduled to begin Oct. 25 at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theatre). Durang, according to press notes, has "mixed themes and characters from Uncle Vanya and other Chekhov plays and set them (as well as a new character, a 'twenty-something boy toy Spike') in present-day Bucks County, PA."

The McCarter season will also include Edward Albee's A Delicate Balance, which will run Jan. 18-Feb. 17, 2013. The production will be directed by McCarter artistic director Emily Mann. And, director Rebecca Taichman will helm Shakespeare’s The Winter’s Tale, which is scheduled for an April 2-21, 2013, engagement.

Two additional productions will be announced at a later date.
