Mario Cimarro will replace Hector Soberon in the current Mexican hit revival of James Kirkwood's PS: You Cat is Dead (PD: Tu Gato Ha Muerto) beginning Dec. 18.

Cimarro, who recently starred in the soap-opera Gente Bien, will play the role of Vitto opposite Otto Sirgo, who received this year's Mexican Critics' Award for best actor in a play for his portrayal of Jimmy.

PD: Tu Gato Ha Muerto received its Mexican premiere in 1984 and starred Humberto Zurita and Manuel Ojeda. The current revival opened Sept. 1996 at the Teatro Lirico starring Sirgo and Soberon, and moved late to the Poliforum Cultural Siqueiros, where it continues its highly successful run.

Directed by Sergio Jimenez and produced by Ruben Lara and Televiteatro, PD: Tu Gato Ha Muerto runs Thurs. at 8PM, Fri. at 7 & 9:30PM, Sat. at 6PM & 8:30PM and Sun. at 5:30PM & 8PM. For tickets and information call the Poliforum Cultural Siqueiros at (52-5) 536-4520.
