Performances are scheduled for the mornings of Feb. 7-11 and 14-18 at 10:30 AM.
Written by David F. Eliet and directed by Justin Boccitto, the production, according to press notes, is a "classic re-telling of Cinderella as seen through interwoven stories and tales from Africa, India and China. In one of the stories there is a magic fish instead of a fairy godmother and in another Cinderella is a boy! Come meet the enchanted frog, talking parrot, flying cow and magic wizard."
The play is performed by Roxanne Fox, Sandra Miller, Kario Pereira-Bailey and Kane Prestenback, all graduates of the Circle in the Square Theatre School.
The running time is 50 minutes; the performances will be followed by a question-and-answer session.
Circle in the Square Theatre is located in Manhattan at 50th Street, between Broadway and 8th Avenue. For tickets, priced $5 for adults and children, call (212) 307-0388. For more information visit www.circlesquare.org/arts_current.htm.
