News Cirque du Soleil’s Paramour Sets Digital Lottery The new musical arrives on Broadway April 16 at the Lyric Theatre.

The new musical Paramour arrives on Broadway April 16 at the Lyric Theatre. It officially opens May 25.

Cirque du Soleil Theatrical has announced details for the Paramour digital lottery, which will begin April 16 via the TodayTix app. According to Cirque, “The lottery begins each night at midnight and closes four hours prior to the performance. Winners will receive email confirmation to claim lottery tickets. Winners’ tickets are available for pick up from a TodayTix concierge at the Lyric Theatre. Lottery purchases have a maximum of two tickets per person.”

A separate rush ticket policy for Paramour will be announced in the coming weeks. The Lyric Theatre is located at 213 W. 42nd Street.

Paramour, according to press notes, “spins the thrilling tale of a beautiful young actress forced to choose between love and art in the glamorous world of Golden Age Hollywood. Featuring eye-popping acrobatics and sumptuous music and dance, [the production] is a groundbreaking new event that will transport you to a sublime world of emotion and awe as it walks the exhilarating tightrope of the heart.”

The principal cast includes Jeremy Kushnier as A.J., the director; Ruby Lewis as Indigo, the starlet; and Ryan Vona as Joey, the composer.

Under the artistic guidance of Jean-François Bouchard (creative guide and creative director), Paramour is directed by French stage director and choreographer Philippe Decouflé.
