News City Garage Premieres Three New Plays From France, Feb. 11 Three new French plays will have their West Coast premiere at City Garage Theatre commencing Feb. 11 and continuing through March 19. The plays are: Cabale by Enzo Cormann; The Fetishist by Michel Tournier; and Night Just Before the Forest by Bernard-Marie Koltes.

Three new French plays will have their West Coast premiere at City Garage Theatre commencing Feb. 11 and continuing through March 19. The plays are: Cabale by Enzo Cormann; The Fetishist by Michel Tournier; and Night Just Before the Forest by Bernard-Marie Koltes.Cormann's play, which deals with a passionate young woman and a middle-aged Irish terrorist, will be seen in the Friday-Sunday slot at City Garage, one of L.A.'s leading avant-garde theatre groups. The Fetishist is scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday nights, in tandem with Night. In the former, a tender and eccentric lover of women's underwear recounts the comic misadventures of his obsession. Koltes' drama is set at night on a deserted Parisian street where a man struggles with the "isolation and inner torment that threatens to consume him."
