Claire Sweeney, the television and stage star (Chicago), is to reopen London's showbiz and musical theatre store Dress Circle.
The shop was badly damaged by arson in August, but the shop will reopen on Nov. 23.
If Dress Circle needed any confirmation of its place in the heart of the theatre industry, the long list of stars, and regular customers queuing up to donate their services to the Gala re-opening would be enough; throughout the day there will a running cabaret of West End singers, an open-mike spot for aspiring stars, and events for the public and professionals alike to relax and enjoy.
