On Dec. 3, Claire Sweeny began her run as Roxy in Chicago, the perenially popular Kander and Ebb musical at the Adelphi Theatre.
Immediately prior to starting at the Adelphi she could be found in Dress Circle, London's showbiz shop that specializes in CDs of musicals, filming an unusual take on the television holiday program, " Wish You Were Here," more usually set on sandy beaches or tropical locations.
Due to be broadcast in January, she will present an episode of "Wish You Were Here" that focuses on the West End as a holiday venue: what hotels to stay at, what theatres to go to and where to head for CDs, merchandizing, books and the latest gossip about openings, closings and what's on where internationally.
