Clarke Thorell, whose Broadway credits include Titanic and the current revival of Annie, will offer Songs I Wish I’d Writtten Aug. 5 at 7 PM. The concert will feature the work of Harry Nilsson, Paul McCartney, Adam Guettel, Lambert, Hendricks & Ross, Elvis Costello, Chris Thile, Sting and more. Thorell will be joined by music director/pianist Dan Lipton as well as guest vocalists Haven Burton and Cortés Alexander with Simon Kafka on guitar and other strings, Mark Vanderpoel on bass and Shannon Ford on drums.

Julie Halston in Classical Julie will be seen Aug. 12 and 19 at 7 PM. The evenings, according to press notes, combine "classic Halston rants with brand new material, including her inimitable take on Ibsen and other highly literate writers."

James Barbour, seen on Broadway in A Tale of Two Cities, Assassins, Beauty and the Beast, Carousel and Jane Eyre, will play the famed Manhattan jazz club Aug. 26. Show time is 7 PM.
