News   Clow and Brunell Enjoy a Wonderful Life Beginning Nov. 8 in N.J. The Paper Mill Playhouse's production of A Wonderful Life — the musical adaptation of the classic film of the same name — begins performances at the New Jersey Theatre Nov. 8.

James Clow heads the cast as George Bailey, the role immortalized on screen by Jimmy Stewart. Catherine Brunell plays devoted wife Mary Hatch Bailey.

The company also features Jeff Brooks as Clarence, Nick Wyman as Henry Potter, Jordan Cable as Harry Bailey, John Jellison as Tom Bailey, Sean Martin Hingston as Sam Wainwright, Dale Radunz as Matthew, Kevin Bernard as Bert, Robert Creighton as Ernie Bishop, Jan Passano as Milly Bailey and J.B. Adams as Uncle Billy with Ed Romanoff, Jessica Mary Murphy, Jerry Galante, Emilie Dupree, Kellie Drinkhahn, Jeremy Davis, Todd Horman, Jean Marie, Allison Couture, Cynthia Lee Heim, Marisa Malanga, Sophia Rudin, Nigel Columbus, Adrian Pena, Erin Henry, Daniel Marconi, Jacqueline Colmer, Lucy Grebin, Matt Condello, and Natalie Loftin.

Directed by James Brennan with choreography by Andy Blankenbuhler, A Wonderful Life will officially open Nov. 12. The limited engagement will play through Dec. 17.

The creative team also includes Tom Helm (musical direction), Charlie Smith (set design), Gail Baldoni (costume design), Richard Winkler (lighting design) and Randy Hansen (sound design).

Based on the famed Frank Capra film "It's a Wonderful Life," A Wonderful Life features book and lyrics by Sheldon Harnick and music by the late Joe Raposo. Like the motion picture, the musical concerns the life of Bedford Falls resident George Bailey as he learns how those around him would be affected had he never existed.
