Starla Benford and Sherri Parker Lee will have a rotating partner in their April 17-29 gig playing in Eve Ensler's The Vagina Monologues at Stamford, CT's Rich Forum. Filling the third spot in the cast will be Michelle Clunie and Ana Gasteyer, Clunie taking the first week, Gasteyer the second.
Gasteyer, a member of "Saturday Night Light," has performed in the long- running Off-Broadway version of The Vagina Monologues. Clunie stars as Melanie in the Showtime series, "Queer as Folk." She was also a regular on "The Jeff Foxworthy Show" and "The Chris Elliot Show."
Sherri Parker Lee played the only major female role in the Royal National Theater, Alley Theatre and Broadway productions of Tennessee Williams' lost early play, Not About Nightingales. Benford was in the short lived Broadway production of Macbeth, starring Kelsey Grammer. In Stamford, she acted in From the Mississippi Delta.
