News Cole Porter Expert Kimball Speaks at Porterphiles Matinees Jan. 3-11 Robert Kimball, the respected musical theatre historian, will be the guest speaker at audience discussions following each remaining matinee of The York Theatre Company's production of Porterphiles, the new revue of unpublished Cole Porter songs.

Kimball will be joined on stage by cast members Lynne Halliday, Ricky Russell and Stephen Zinnato, director James Morgan and Judy Brown, who is musical director and creator of the show.

He and the troupe will speak at the remaining matinee performances Friday Jan. 3, Saturday Jan. 4; Sunday Jan. 5; Wednesday Jan. 8, and Saturday Jan. 11, all at 2:30 PM.  The discussions will begin at approximately 4:10.

Kimball serves as artistic advisor to the Cole Porter Musical and Literary Property Trusts.  He is the author, with Brendan Gill, of "Cole," and the editor of "The Complete Lyrics of Cole Porter."

Performances continue to Jan. 12 at Theater at St. Peter's, 619 Lexington Ave. at 54th Street.
