Entitled "No Regrets," the CD will be available from Entertainment One Music/Purpose Music beginning Sept. 14.

Song titles include "Why," "Dream," "I Believe," "I Remember," "Gonna Be Alright" and "Take Me Back" as well as the title tune, which was written by Withers, Barry Eastmond and Gordon Chambers.

Producers are Barry Eastmond, Gordon Chambers, Toby Gad, Carvin Haggins and Ivan Barias.

Color Purple marked the Broadway debut for Withers, who received a Tony nomination for her performance as Shug Avery. The singer has recorded and performed with such artists as Luther Vandross, Cher, Celine Dion and Henry Krieger. Withers also penned the song "Emotions," a number-one hit on the Billboard Charts. Her solo debut recording was titled "It Can Happen to Anyone."
