News Comedian Billy Connolly Will Offer Uncensored Stand-Up Show, The Man Live, at the Beacon Comedian and actor Billy Connolly will bring his "uncensored, uncut and unpredictable" stand-up show, Billy Connolly: The Man Live, to New York for a one-night-only performance Dec. 7 at the Beacon Theatre.

Connolly, who was last seen in a New York engagement in 2006, has appeared in the UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand, among others.

Other cities for Billy Connolly: The Man Live will be announced at a later date.

Connolly is a standup comedian, actor, musician, TV presenter and artist. In 1962, he formed The Humblebums band with Gerry Rafferty before pursuing a solo career as a comedian. His film and television credits include "The Last Samurai," "The Boondock Saints," "Brave," "Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events," "House M.D.," "3rd Rock From the Sun," "Mrs. Brown," "Head of the Class" and the upcoming films "The Hobbit" and "Quartet," among others.

Aside from film and television, Connolly has toured worldwide for the last 50 years, performing to an audience of over 10,000,000. Connolly was awarded a CBE in 2003 and was given the Freedom of the City of Glasgow in 2010.
