David Brenner and his new one-man show Live and Dangerous will play the Falcon Theatre Dec. 1 & 8, 1999 at 8 PM. The show is sneak-preview of the comic's upcoming HBO special of the same name. Brenner will be followed at the Falcon by the Troubador Theatre Company, which will present Twelfth Dog Night, a madcap combination of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night and the 70's rock band Three Dog Night. TTC's show will run Dec. 16, 1999-Jan. 16, 2000 (with a special Christmas week matinee Dec. 27-30).
In addition to doing stand-up comedy and guesting on "The David Letterman Show" (over 150 appearances), Brenner is a best-selling writer and documentary filmmaker. His upcoming HBO Comedy Special, "David Brenner Live and Dangerous" will be broadcast live from the Venetian Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Feb. 19, 2000.
Troubador Theatre Company is known for its slapstick comedy and circus routines, which it combines with singing and dancing in Twelfth Dog Night. The show is suitable for the entire family.
