Julie Andrews has extended her stay in Victor/Victoria by one week, now through to June 8. For some time, Andrews has been sitting out Sunday matinees, but had been scheduled to make her final V/V appearance on Sunday, June 1. With the extension, that matinee will revert to Anne Runolfsson.

Finally, Lynette DuPre is currently subbing for Tony winner Ann Duquesnay in Bring in 'Da Noise, Bring in 'Da Funk. Duquesnay's former standby, Mary Bond Davis, is currently with The Gershwin's Fascinating Rhythm, which just had its world premiere at Hartford Stage Company. DuPre has had a busy week: on May 19, she appeared (with Mandy Patinkin, Adam Guettel, Terry McCarthy, Ted Sperling, and Billy Porter) in a reading of Guettel's new work, an oratorio-like music theater piece called Myths & Hymns.
